Creates a parallel or offset copy of curves and lines.

- Specify the distance from the original entity for the parallel copy.
- Select the entity that you want to parallel.
- Select the side where you want the parallel entity located.
- Specify which side to place the copy on.

Parallel: ENTER for Through point ?: To specify the distance you want the parallel copy offset enter a value or specify two points. To specify a point through which you want the parallel copy offset, choose Through point.
To specify the offset distance
Enter the offset distance or specify two points.
Select entity: Select the entity that you want to parallel.
Both sides ?: Select the side where you want the parallel copy located (right or left side). To create a parallel copy on both sides, choose Both sides.
Select entity: Select another entity that you want to parallel.
To specify a point through which the entity is offset
Choose Through point.
Select entity: Select the entity that you want to parallel.
Through point: Select the point through which you want the copy to pass.
Select entity: Select another entity that you want to parallel.
To create parallel entities from polylines
- Select the entity you want to parallel.
- Select the side on which you want the parallel entity located.
Select entity: Select the polyline entity that you want to parallel.
Wrap ?Both sides ?: Select the side where you want the parallel copy located. To wrap the parallel copy around the selected entity, choose Wrap. To create a parallel copy on both sides, choose Both sides.
To wrap the parallel copy
- Select the entity you want to parallel.
- To create an inside wrap, choose to Wrap the parallel copy, and select the side.
- To create an outside wrap, choose to Wrap Both Sides, and select the side.
Choose Wrap. A wrapped copy of the polyline does not cross itself.
Both sides ?: Select the side where you want the parallel copy located. To wrap the parallel copy around the selected entity, choose Wrap. To create a parallel copy on both sides, choose Both sides.
Select entity: Select another entity that you want to parallel.
